Harfangs-Greens Deal: Vogelezang for Bystrom Sunday, July 7th , 2080 The Harfangs and Greens pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 19-year old RF Gidde Vogelezang and a 5th round draft pick head to Boston in exchange for 33-year old LF Josh Bystrom and 24-year old RF Marcel van der Lans. A source close to Montreal officials said, "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs." In 78 games this season, Bystrom has compiled a .239 batting average with 73 hits and 5 home runs. He has also scored 43 times and knocked in 30 runs. |
