Done Deal: Brooks for Mendiola Sunday, June 26th , 2078 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Seattle Arrows and the San Antonio Angels have agreed to a deal that will have 28-year old LHP Slider Brooks and 29-year old LHP Abel Downey heading to San Antonio in exchange for 19-year old RHP Axel Mendiola, 20-year old RHP Angelo Zelada, 24-year old RHP Mike Hill, a 1st round draft pick, a 2nd round draft pick, and a 3rd round draft pick. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. In 13 starts this year, Brooks has recorded a 0-2 record and a 2.48 ERA. |
