WC Best Newcomer Trophy Awarded Monday, July 1st , 2080 Mike Bak earned June's Rookie of the Month honors in the Western Conference for last month's performance. The boyish Las Vegas designated hitter might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Bak hit .294 with 9 home runs, 27 RBIs and 18 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. So far this year, Bak is batting .270 with 25 home runs. |
