Trade: Lei for Pagac Sunday, June 30th , 2080 Montreal and Minneapolis announced some roster changes today as the Harfangs acquired 33-year old LF Paul Pagac from the Vikings in exchange for 26-year old 1B Guo-feng Lei and 20-year old minor league LHP Jose Ortiz. Representatives from both teams say they are pleased with the deal. Minneapolis will retain a portion of Pagac's remaining contract. This season, Lei has posted a batting average of .230 with 53 hits in 230 at-bats, 12 home runs and 32 RBIs. He has also scored 32 runs, walked 34 times and compiled a .337 OBP. This year, Pagac is hitting .268 with 19 home runs and 51 RBIs in 76 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .386 with 53 walks and 44 runs scored. |
