Avispas-Arrows Deal: Geier for Leslie Sunday, June 12th , 2078 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Avispas announced today the acquisition of 25-year old LHP Victor Cacho, 23-year old 1B Mike Leslie, 19-year old RHP Jason Vargo, 32-year old SS Jose Enciso, and a 2nd round draft pick from the Seattle Arrows in exchange for 32-year old LHP Honey Geier. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Avispas, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." This season, Geier has compiled a 3-3 mark with a 4.43 ERA. |
