Morf Wins WC Honor Monday, June 17th , 2080 It was a fantastic week for Phoenix left fielder Billy Morf and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Western Conference Player of the Week Award. Last week Morf hammered the ball at a torrid .545 pace, going 12-for-22 with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Morf is hitting .335 for the season with 11 home runs, 44 RBIs and 48 runs scored. He has 78 hits in 233 at-bats and played in 64 games. |
