Pryor Batters Philadelphia Big Time
Sunday, June 5th , 2078
The Boston Greens stopped the Philadelphia Spectres by a score of 19-11 at Sony Field at Philadelphia, with the lion's share of the credit going to catcher Zachary Pryor. The 25-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.
"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Pryor said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."
Pryor did just that in his 8 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Spectres.
"Not much that I can say," offered Philadelphia manager Ryan Huff. "He just hammered the heck out of us."
Zachary Pryor struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Tony Lopez in the 8th, doubled in the 10th, struck out in the 12th, singled in the 14th and hit an RBI single in the 15th.
In his season totals, Pryor has 1 home run, .262 BA, .326 OBP, 4 RBIs and 6 runs scored. He has played in 14 games.
