Rookie Honored by Eastern Conference Wednesday, June 1st , 2078 Karl Cooper's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Miami first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In May he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .324 with 10 doubles, 1 triple and 8 home runs. Cooper also scored 21 times and drove in 26 runs. This year, Cooper has batted at a .265 pace with 56 hits, 8 home runs, 45 RBIs and scored 32 times. |
