Star of the Week Awarded in WC Monday, June 3rd , 2080 Daviel Davila of the Los Angeles Stars might have lost a step over the years, but the 35-year-old second baseman can still get it done. He beat out several other worthy Western Conference hitters over this past week to claim the Player of the Week Award. Davila posted a .458 batting average with 5 home runs and 10 RBIs last week while scoring 8 runs. For the week he was 11 for 24. Thus far this year, Davila is hitting .315 with 8 home runs, 28 RBIs and 26 runs scored. |
