Juggernauts Brier to Miss Year
Thursday, May 5th , 2078
Danford Brier will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Toronto starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Brier was injured while throwing a pitch in the Juggernauts-Twins clash at Molson Park recently. Doctors said he has a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 9 months.
So far this season, Brier has a 0-2 record, 5 starts, 19 innings, 15 strikeouts and a 4.74 ERA.
