Rookie Wiz Gets April Award in EC Wednesday, May 1st , 2080 Throwing with confidence is the hardest thing for a rookie to pull off, but thanks to New York's pitching coaches, Tadeu Carneira has been able to gain confidence in surprisingly little time. The 22-year-old is new to the Eastern Conference, but that didn't prevent him from putting up numbers good enough to win the Rookie of the Month in April. In 5 starts he notched 3 wins and no losses, 31 strikeouts in 34 innings and registered an impressive 2.91 ERA last month. |
