Lobatos Picks up EC Monthly Pitching Honor Wednesday, May 1st , 2080 Last month's cream of the crop on the mound was Cesar Lobatos of the Havana Metropolitanos. He captured the Eastern Conference Pitcher of the Month award for his outstanding performance in April. Lobatos started 6 games, threw 41.1 innings, yielded 26 hits and logged a 5-0 record. He put down 42 batters on strikes, walked 11 and compiled a 1.31 ERA. Opposing teams batted .184 against him. |
