Brito Bashes 3 HR for Las Vegas Thursday, April 25th , 2080 It was a good day for the Las Vegas Aces and an exceptional one for Bobby Brito. The 23-year-old left fielder sent three bombs out of the park to help the Aces beat the San Antonio Angels, 12-3, at Tesoro Stadium. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Brito said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 5 runs and smacked 4 hits in 4 at-bats. Bobby Brito hit a solo-shot off Eduardo Escobar in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Eduardo Escobar in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Logan Meyers in the 8th. Currently Brito is hitting .298 and has collected 8 home runs, 19 RBIs and scored 12 times, while playing in 22 games. |
