Neri Hits in 20 Straight Games Friday, April 12th , 2080 Chris Neri's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The San Francisco left fielder smacked 1 hit against the Las Vegas Aces in today's game at Staples Field, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Friars drop the game, 6-1. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Chris Neri walked in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
