Hitting Streak Still Alive for Laca Sunday, April 7th , 2080 The number just keeps getting higher. Los Angeles catcher Eloy Laca has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 3 hits in 5 at-bats as the Los Angeles won the game, 8-0, over the Vancouver Wolves at Stars Ballpark. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Vancouver manager Matt Libid said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Eloy Laca grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.
