Los Angeles Trades Avellaneda for Montreal's Ahumada Sunday, March 31st , 2080 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Los Angeles Stars and the Montreal Harfangs have agreed to a deal that will have 33-year old RHP Antonio Avellaneda heading to Montreal in exchange for 24-year old LF Rich Bice, 35-year old 2B Daviel Davila, and 25-year old 2B Juan Ahumada. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. In career numbers, Avellaneda has registered a 163-122 record with a 3.64 ERA. |
