Alaska Sends Madueno to Maine Sunday, March 31st , 2080 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Kodiaks announced today the acquisition of 22-year old minor league RHP Paul Madonia and 21-year old minor league RHP Sergio Vega from the Maine Lobster in exchange for 28-year old RHP Jairo Madueno. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Kodiaks, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Over his career Madueno has a 48-50 won-lost record with a 4.56 ERA. In 167 games he has recorded 2 saves, and the 28-year-old has fanned 483 batters in 819.2 innings. |
