Star of the Week Selected in WC Monday, April 18th, 2044 At the age of 26, Fernando Madrid might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Seattle first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .600 batting average. For his efforts Madrid collected the Western Conference Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 20 at-bats, 3 home runs and 13 RBIs last week in 5 games. |
