Kodiaks Swap Allen to Lobster for Eusebio Sunday, August 6th , 2079 A trade was announced today at a press conference in Alaska. Not satisfied with their current roster, the Alaska Kodiaks general manager shook things up by acquiring 28-year old LF David Eusebio from the Portland (E) Lobster for 26-year old CF Joel Roberts, 26-year old LHP Irakly Alvarez, 20-year old 1B Ben Rater, 18-year old 2B Ricardo Soltero, 27-year old RHP Jeremy Allen, and 29-year old LHP Ki-tong Lok. "We're a better team now," Kodiaks general manager Alex King said. "We've added several pieces to the puzzle." Portland (E) will retain a portion of Eusebio's remaining contract. Taking a look at his season, Allen has made 6 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark and a 2.70 ERA. In pitching 6.2 innings, he has totaled 6 strikeouts and 7 walks. This year, Eusebio is batting .244 with 22 home runs. He has scored 40 runs and driven in 55. |
