Tucson Swaps Jollymour to Chicago for Caceres Sunday, July 18th , 2083 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Toros announced today the acquisition of 19-year old SS J.C. Caceres, 22-year old SS Francisco Vialpando, 21-year old LF Juan Villa, 19-year old LF Sierra King, and a 1st round draft pick from the Chicago Phantoms in exchange for 30-year old RHP Felix Talamantez, 22-year old SS Ron Jollymour, and 23-year old 2B Min-gook You. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Toros, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." For the season, Jollymour is hitting .234, batted in 33 runs with 10 home runs and 29 runs scored. |
