Friars Snap Ivison Streak at 20
Wednesday, July 5th , 2079
The 20-game hitting streak is over.
Buffalo Rangers first baseman Domynguos Ivison failed to get a hit against the San Francisco Friars and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 31-year-old went 0-for-4 in his club's 5-4 victory over the Friars at Bison Stadium.
"I think I only made it to 20 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak."
Ivison is hitting at a .283 mark this season. His stats show 5 home runs, 33 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has played 84 games for the Rangers.
