Twins Escutia Suffers Setback Saturday, June 3rd , 2079 The Cincinnati Twins trainer was the bearer of bad news today, as it was learned Marco Escutia's injury will keep him out of the lineup for longer than expected. The Twins second baseman is being treated for a bruised wrist. During a routine exam, Escutia's condition was found to be worse than originally diagnosed and he is now expected to rehab at least another one week. This year, Escutia is batting .294 with 59 hits and 1 home run. He has scored 35 times and has batted in 19 runs. |
