Dragons Daniels Lost for Year Tuesday, May 23rd , 2079 The season is apparently over for Nate Daniels. The Portland Dragons medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 11 months with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Daniels was hurt in the game against San Francisco while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Daniels has compiled an ERA of 2.87 so far this season, winning 0 games with 2 losses and 7 saves. In 15 relief appearances he has hurled 15.2 innings, yielded 13 hits and struck out 18. Opposing hitters have batted .224 against Daniels. |
