Lobster Deal Prades to Glaciers for Pelayo Sunday, May 7th , 2079 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Lobster announced today the acquisition of 28-year old minor league 3B Rene Pelayo from the Denver Glaciers in exchange for 22-year old minor league RHP Jose Prades. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Lobster, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." During his 301-game career Pelayo has batted .226 and collected 265 hits, 59 home runs and 189 RBIs. |
