San Antonio's Brooks to Miss 4-5 Months Saturday, April 29th , 2079 San Antonio Angels starting pitcher Slider Brooks left yesterday's game against the San Francisco Friars after suffering a torn rotator cuff throwing a pitch. Brooks was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Brooks is expected to miss 4-5 months. Thus far this season, Brooks has posted a 3-0 record, started 6 games, struck out 39 batters in 31.1 innings and compiled a 1.44 ERA. |
