Harfangs-Browns Trade: Citti for Bomba Sunday, November 24th , 2080 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Harfangs announced today the acquisition of 26-year old CF Tommy Bomba, 23-year old SS Jason Brown, and 27-year old LHP Jorge Baeza from the Brooklyn Browns in exchange for 23-year old minor league LF Carmine Citti, 24-year old minor league LHP Douglas Faust, 19-year old minor league 1B Pablo Fernandez, 21-year old minor league CF Victor Ramos, 24-year old minor league CF Leon Rose, 19-year old minor league LF Reuben Sikkes, and 18-year old minor league RHP Ed Terra. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Harfangs, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Taking a look at his lifetime stats, Bomba is hitting .276 with a total of 13 home runs. |
