Thunderbirds Deal LaLonde to Browns for Buelna Sunday, November 24th , 2080 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Phoenix Thunderbirds and the Brooklyn Browns have agreed to a deal that will have 19-year old minor league RHP Baden Tamblyn, 19-year old minor league RHP Gabriel Cruz, 19-year old minor league 2B Tyler Plantholt, and 20-year old minor league LF Chris LaLonde heading to Brooklyn in exchange for 24-year old 2B Billy Buelna, 30-year old LHP Abdi Bitok, and 24-year old RHP Scott Brock. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Buelna has compiled a career batting average of .259 with 335 hits, 42 homers and 178 RBIs. |
