Titans-Stars Swap: Carneira for Beausoleil Friday, November 26th , 2083 Reports have surfaced that New York has agreed to send 25-year old RHP Tadeu Carneira to the Los Angeles Stars in exchange for 30-year old RHP Corey LaCognata, 18-year old minor league LF Yuriandi Silot, 19-year old minor league LF Israel Obregon, 20-year old minor league LHP Wen-zhong Rao, 20-year old minor league LHP Linus Beausoleil, 21-year old minor league RHP Mike Matthews, a 1st round draft pick, and a 3rd round draft pick. "It's a done deal," said one executive speaking on the condition of anonymity. "I'm surprised word got around so quickly. We just signed off on this an hour ago." The deal apparently is awaiting physicals before an official announcement is made by either team. Lifetime Carneira has a won-lost record of 72 victories and 16 losses with 1070 strikeouts in 866 innings and a 2.70 ERA. |
