Los Angeles Swaps Muratalla to Denver for Videaux Friday, November 26th , 2083 It came down to the last hour of a self-imposed trade deadline, but the Los Angeles Stars and Denver Glaciers finally came to an agreement on a trade that had been rumored for weeks. The trade sends Los Angeles's 22-year old minor league RHP Luis Muratalla and 20-year old minor league RHP Joe Cox to Denver in a swap for 24-year old RHP Jose Bustamante and 25-year old 1B Dennis Videaux. Both GMs seemed relieved that the deal had been completed with one stating, "We had to set a deadline to get it done." The players are expected to report to their new teams by tomorrow. Videaux is hitting .307 lifetime with 181 hits, 30 doubles, no triples, 42 home runs, and 121 RBIs to date. He has scored 93 runs and stolen 1 bases. |
