Rangers Trade Blain to Friars for Rojas

In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Buffalo Rangers and the San Francisco Friars have agreed to a deal that will have 26-year old RHP Mike Blain, 24-year old minor league LHP Tony Rosa, and 20-year old minor league RF Matt White heading to San Francisco in exchange for 24-year old LF Bobby Rojas. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games.
In his lifetime, the 26-year-old Blain has won 35 and lost 49, piling up 539 strikeouts and 283 walks in 722 innings with a 4.24 ERA. Opponents have hit .258 against him.
Rojas has registered a career batting average of .251 with 316 hits, 70 homers and 227 RBIs.
