Santiago Sends Drum to San Diego Saturday, November 25th , 2079 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Santiago Avispas and the San Diego Destroyers have agreed to a deal that will have 26-year old RHP Joe Drum and 21-year old minor league C Whip Lund heading to San Diego in exchange for a 1st round draft pick. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. A check of his career stats shows Drum has 32 saves with a 11-8 record and a 3.77 ERA. |
