Boston, Brooklyn Trade Made Saturday, November 25th , 2079 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Greens announced today the acquisition of 32-year old LF Josh Bystrom from the Brooklyn Browns in exchange for nothing. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Greens, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Bystrom has compiled a career batting average of .276 with 1678 hits, 116 homers and 581 RBIs. |
