Goldenberger Misses Time with Day-to-Day Injury Wednesday, August 29th, 2063 Reports out of Philadelphia indicate that Ellery Goldenberger, the gifted shortstop, might be sidelined for 2-3 weeks or so with a strained oblique. The 27-year-old star suffered the injury in yesterday's Eagles-Spectres game while throwing the ball. "It's a game time decision," noted the team doctor, "It all depends on how Ellery feels later today. If he can play, he will." This season Goldenberger is batting .304 with 153 hits, 30 home runs, 96 RBIs, .353 OBP and has scored 88 runs. |
