Hickey Voted September's Best EC Rookie Friday, October 1st , 2083 Youngster Cole Hickey emerged as the latest Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Buffalo deserved the honor, batting .386 with 4 home runs and 20 RBI. Is the month of September a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Hickey enjoy the limelight. This season, Hickey has banged out 180 hits in 613 at-bats for a .294 average with 25 home runs. He is getting on base at a .340 pace and his totals also include 112 RBIs and 75 runs scored. |
