Pittsburgh Won't Make Playoffs Friday, September 29th , 2073 Coming close doesn't make missing the playoffs easier for the Pittsburgh Eagles. Club manager Matthew McExpos said it's a "tough pill to swallow" as the club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. This is the club's 6th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2067.In total, the Eagles have missed the playoffs 62 times in their 84-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Eagles have missed the playoffs 6 times.
