Bobby Winterfeld Hurt, Out for Year Friday, September 24th , 2083 The season is apparently over for Bobby Winterfeld. The Philadelphia Spectres medical staff informed the club that the designated hitter will be out at least 5 months with a broken kneecap. Winterfeld was hurt in the game against Toronto while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This year, Winterfeld is batting .210 with 9 home runs and 49 RBIs. In 107 games he has scored 37 times. |
