Season May Be Over for Twins Soriano
Wednesday, March 8th , 2079
The doctors have spoken and Jose Soriano of the Cincinnati Twins didn't like what he heard. The 25-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Soriano sustained his season-ending injury during the Philadelphia Spectres game yesterday at Spring Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Cincinnati medical staff reported Soriano had a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 13 months.
