Friars Lose to Thunderbirds in Walk Off
Er Hsiao made an impact in the 6-5 Phoenix win over San Francisco. Hsiao, who is tied for 5th in the WC in extra base hits with 34, was 3-5 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. Phoenix reliever Jason Reilly picked up the win, upping his record to 4-5. Manny Arango absorbed the loss. Phoenix is now riding a 3-game win streak.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Hsiao hit a fastball from Manny Arango for a run-scoring double. The Thunderbirds, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"There's no quit in this team," said Thunderbirds manager Joe Busch.
