No one was more impactful than Antonio Fiss in the 4-3 San Francisco win over Denver. Fiss, who finished 4th in the WC in batting average with .310 in 2077, went 3 for 4 with 3 singles. Today's win puts San Francisco at 42-26, while Denver falls to 45-22.

Chris Neri had a big 2-run double for the Friars in the bottom of the sixth inning. With San Francisco leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a curveball from two-time All-Star Tetsukazu Kaneda and swatted a double to right. It was his 14th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Friars ahead, 4-1.

Fiss called the win a testament to his team's "tenacity."
