The Denver Glaciers did just enough to secure a victory over the Portland Dragons, 4-3, at Mountain Dew Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Hatsuhiko Saruwatari. Reliever Victor Garza picked up the win. His record improves to 2-3. Stuart Stephenson took the loss. Getting the save was James L'Hommedieu, his 6th.

Denver took a 4-3 lead on Oscar Mantivar's 3rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Mantivar hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Portland pitcher Shuzo Morishita shaking his head.

"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Mantivar.

Today's win puts Denver at 33-34, while Portland falls to 40-26.
