The Los Angeles Stars faced a tough opponent in Tucson pitcher Taxi Sabala, but found a way to pull out the victory at Aetna Stadium by a final score of 4-1 in 10 innings. Sabala went 7 innings and allowed no runs. Gwang-soo Pae snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-1 on the season. Adam Mimnaugh suffered the loss. The victory gives the Stars a record of 39-28.
