Enthusiastic fans came out to support the home team at Cincinnati Grounds.

Cincinnati Twins starter Edwin Vazquez pitched a good game to help his team take down the New York Titans, 3-1. Vazquez picked up the win for Cincinnati, going 5.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 4-4. Phil Cromsie notched his 8th save of the season.

The Twins got a big at-bat from left fielder Alex Sierra. For the game, Sierra went 1-3 with a home run. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 13th home run of the season gave Cincinnati a 2-1 lead.

"Edwin was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Cincinnati manager Ryan Stoops.

The Twins are now 32-34.
