Loera Spins Gem, Toronto Wins
|
The Toronto Juggernauts defeated the Buffalo Rangers, 6-0, in Eastern Conference action at Bison Stadium. Toronto pitcher Fisko Loera had a standout performance. Toronto is second in the Eastern Conference Solano Antas Division with a record of 38-28.
Loera subdued the Buffalo offense. The Toronto right-hander allowed a mere 4 hits over 8.1 innings, while fanning 10. His season record goes to 7-0 with the win.
"Fisko was the difference maker. He was emotionally under control, had good stuff and makeup," said Toronto manager Marc Arnold.
