Washington Senators starter Les Ralph was in fine form against the Baltimore Kings at The ESPN Zone, leading his team to a win, 5-4. Ralph went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 5-7. With the win, Washington upped its record to 34-31.
Bobby Soucie had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Washington. He came through with a bases-clearing double to put Washington in front, 5-0.
