Red-Hot Phantoms Win Again
|
Chicago Phantoms starter Abdi Bitok found his groove in his team's 3-0 win over the Seattle Arrows. By defeating Seattle, the second-place Phantoms improved to 36-29.
The Phantoms got a big at-bat from right fielder Jin-young Choe. For the game, Choe went 1 for 2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Chicago a 2-0 lead.
"This team's hitting on all cylinders," said Phantoms manager Sam J.
