|
Portland Dragons starter Yandri Vido turned in a top-notch performance against the San Diego Destroyers at Seaward Stadium. The result was a win for the Dragons, 8-1. The win elevated the Dragons to 35-30.
Vido was effective for Portland, seldom allowing the Destroyers to square up a pitch. The right-hander tossed 104 pitches over 8.2 innings. He limited San Diego to just 1 run on 4 hits.
"Yandri giving us the start that he did was huge," said Portland manager Greg Carpenter.
