Yerges Excels, Santiago Blows Out Kansas City
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Kansas City Athletics and Santiago Avispas get after it.
The Santiago Avispas downed the Kansas City Athletics, 15-3. The hitting star was designated hitter Dave Yerges. Yerges slugged 3 home runs, while scoring 4 times and driving in 9 for the Avispas. Dunieski Vazquez picked up the win, lifting his record to 1-0 on the season. He struck out 6 and walked 1 in 5.2 innings, while yielding 2 runs.
