Dragons Get Better of Destroyers, 6-5
|
Led by Felix Sanchez, the Portland Dragons downed the San Diego Destroyers, 6-5. Sanchez was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Dragons. The second-place Destroyers now sit at 33-32.
Right Fielder Hideji Yamanaka made an impact for Portland, when he swatted a 2-run home run off B.J. Terriquez in the top of the third. For the contest, Yamanaka went 1-5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Sanchez, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
