Shimizu Helps Portland Cruise to 11-3 Win
The Portland Dragons powered past the Seattle Arrows, 11-3, at Power Ballpark. Tadashi Shimizu provided some of the pop. He was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 4. The Dragons raised their record to 32-32.

Portland relied on the hitting of Alex Guilzar to pick up the win. The first baseman ripped a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Dragons on top, 3-2. For the game, Guilzar had 1 triple and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We did a lot of really good things and it was a good win," said Dragons manager Greg Carpenter.
