Eastick, Wolves Too Much for Aces
The Vancouver Wolves beat the Las Vegas Aces, 9-4, at Fox-Chong Park. Nate Eastick was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The 34-year old second baseman was a menace to Las Vegas all day. The last-place Wolves improved to 27-37.

Koson Kitano was 2-2 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times for Vancouver. The 25-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Hemmu Chacha. It was his 23rd RBI of the season.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Kitano.
