|
Hurler Josh Adamczyk gave the Cincinnati Twins a solid start. The native of Seattle, Washington helped his team defeat the New York Titans, 3-2, at Polo Grounds II. The save went to Brad Jenkins, number 4 for him. Cincinnati is now 29-33.
Cincinnati used a clutch at-bat from Jose Tineo to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Twins ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Tineo. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
