Twins Make Kings 7-3 Losers
|
The Cincinnati Twins beat the Baltimore Kings, 7-3. Cincinnati pitcher and Munsey Park, New York, native Roberto Ruiz led the way. Ruiz picked up the win for Cincinnati, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 2-4. At 26-35, the Twins claim last place in the Eastern Conference Willis Briceno Division.
Cincinnati designated hitter Asa Hornyak contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball into right field for a 2-run single. It was his 53rd hit of the season and put the Twins ahead, 7-3.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Ruiz.
